Peet’s Coffee is joining the high-protein bandwagon. The coffee retailer has debuted its Vitality Menu, featuring high-protein lattes for 2025. The chain is also enhancing several of its beverages with ingredients rich in Vitamins C and D, both of which have been proven to help the immune system during the winter months.
The coffee brewer utilizes Bob’s Red Mill Whey Protein Powder to craft these new beverages. A press release states that each medium coffee, enhanced with the protein powder, contains a whopping 20 grams or more of protein per serving.
Peet’s Coffee customers can choose from three protein-packed sips, either hot or iced. These include the brand’s Vanilla, Golden, and Matcha Lattes.
The company has also added beverages enhanced with immune-boosting ingredients rich in Vitamins C & D. These bubbly beverages fit perfectly into a healthy lifestyle.
Specifically, Peet’s Coffee has introduced its Golden Immunity Sparkling Lemonade and Sparkling Citrus Immunity Black Tea. The Golden beverage is flavored with elderberry and cascara extract. Elderberry is packed with antioxidants and vitamins that may boost the immune system, as does cascara extract. Black tea is rich in antioxidants. Adding citrus, high in vitamins C and D, can help customers fight off winter ills.
“With Gen Z giving rise to trends like protein coffee or ‘proffee,’ our Vitality Menu is a game-changing way to fuel the new year,” said Kristina Roach, senior director of brand marketing at Peet’s Coffee. “We’ve found a way to combine the energizing power of coffee with the lasting benefits of protein and Vitamins C & D to keep your spirits strong — without sacrificing flavor.”
Amp up the Protein and Antioxidant Power by Pairing Peet’s Coffee With a Plant-Based Sandwich
Along with antioxidant and protein-rich drinks now available at Peet’s Coffee are plant-based sandwiches.
Peet’s has revamped its fan-favorite Everything Plant-Based Sandwich. Between two pieces of an everything bagel thin, Peet’s Coffee stacks Impossible Sausage, fluffy JUST Egg, and vegan cheddar. Customers can wash that down with this month’s roast, Ethiopian Super Natural Blend.
For over two decades, Peet’s Coffee customers have enjoyed Ethiopian Super Natural Blend’s hints of wild blueberries, white flower, and candied citron. This blend is available through March 12.
Peet’s Coffee says of the blend, “Ours comes from the Guji zone and Sidama regions east of Lake Abaya and grown as high as 7,200 feet. Take a sip, and note the complexity, the rich mocca overtones. Truly a remarkable cup: a Super Natural worth savoring.”
