According to a survey conducted by iHeartMedia and Disquo Research, the 66% of fans who say “it’s exciting for me to follow women’s sports” increased 10% since the network’s launch—with the 80% of adults 18-34 who find women’s sports more accessible climbing by a similar percentage.
That’s a win for sponsors, with 77% of fans saying, “Brands that support women’s sports are making a positive change in society.”
“We launched iHeart Women’s Sports last year to provide the type of women’s sports coverage that fans have long been wanting,” said Jessie Katz, head of iHeart Women’s Sports. “The latest programming further builds on the media industry’s most consistent, authentic network for news, and commentary about women’s sports.”
