Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers announced significant expansion plans with four franchise agreements, set to add 21 new locations across several states. The fast-casual brand is on track for a record-setting year, having recently secured deals in key markets including Washington, Illinois, Iowa, New Jersey, and Texas.
Among the new franchisees, Imrit Chattrath and Jasdeep Singh from Puget Sound Bites, Inc. have committed to opening ten units in the Seattle area, marking Freddy’s debut in Washington. In the Midwest, the father-son duo Mike and Steven Young of MLY Investments will introduce three restaurants in Illinois and Iowa, complementing their existing portfolio of 10 locations with another 15 currently in development. Additionally, Peter Labib plans to launch four units in Monmouth County, New Jersey, while Frank Fayyaz of ARF Restaurants, LLC will establish four locations in Austin, Texas.
Andrew Thengvall, Chief Development Officer, expressed enthusiasm for the brand’s growth, highlighting the continued investment from both new and existing franchisees as a testament to Freddy’s value proposition. With over 530 locations in 36 states and an additional 130+ in development for 2024 and 2025, Freddy’s is poised for further expansion.
