Casual eatery Dog Haus has announced a collaboration with YouTube star Jake Paul, with the goal of benefiting both the brand and the internet celebrity as they move forward into the future.
Nation’s Restaurant News reports that Paul “will both become a Dog Haus franchisee and sit on the board of directors for the brand alongside his manager, Nakisa Bidarian.” Additionally, the restaurant will partner with Paul for his upcoming fight with Mike Tyson, which is scheduled to take place on Nov. 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Michael Montagano, CEO of Dog Haus, told Nation’s Restaurant News, “Jake made his way into one of our restaurants while he was in Texas, actually in the lead up to the original fight date. He liked the experience and what he ate, and he posted on social media asking who the owners were and that he’d like to talk to them… When a once in a generation talent hits you up on social media, you take notice.”
How Will Jake Paul’s Collaboration With Dog Haus Benefit Both Parties?
A press release reports that Jake Paul will help to drive the creative vision for Dog Haus. He will also franchise 25 stores, beginning with four restaurants in Texas, and with plans to expand into both Florida and Puerto Rico. These initial store openings lead up to the highly anticipated boxing match.
Headlining the preliminary portion of the match will be Shadasia “Sweet Terminator” Green taking on Melinda “The Whip” Watpool in a 10-round women’s championship fight. Then, Lucas “Prince” Bahdi fights Corey “2Smoove” Marksman. Finally, Bruce “Shu Shu” Carrington Jr. and Dana “Deadly” Coolwell will knock gloves in an eight-round featherweight contest. Then, the big showdown between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson begins.
In leading up to Jake Paul’s fight against Mike Tyson, Dog Haus plans on bringing big deals to its customers. These will include limited meet-and-greets with Paul, “Fight Night Haus Parties” at every Dog Haus location on Nov. 15, and the announcement of a new Dog Haus menu item Paul helped create: wings tossed in “El Gallo Sauce,” which is a nod to Jake Paul’s fighting name in the ring, “El Gallo del Dorado” (the Fighting Rooster of Dorado).
“I’m all in,” said Jake Paul. “I’ve been a fan of Dog Haus for years and I’m fired up to push the limits and help take this amazing brand to a whole new level. I’m jumping in their corner and excited to introduce their food and experience to everyone across the country!”
