Out With the Old: These Dishes Are Getting the Axe
The restaurant chain told PEOPLE that 13 dishes are leaving Cheesecake Factory’s menu:
- Everything Flatbread Pizza
- Mushroom Burger
- Seared Ahi Tuna Salad
- White Chicken Chili
- Spicy Cashew Chicken
- Bistro Shrimp Pasta
- Fried Shrimp Platter
- Petite Filet
- Factory Combinations
- Loaded Mashed Potato Omelette
- Taco Dorados and Eggs
- SkinnyLicious Lemon Herb Parmesan Chicken
- SkinnyLicious Spicy Shrimp Pasta
In an interview with Nation’s Restaurant News in 2017, Cheesecake Factory Founder David Overton said the restaurant’s menu is constantly evolving. In fact, it changes twice a year.
“We’ve changed the menu twice a year, every year, for 40 years,” Overton said at the time. “That’s what keeps people interested. And it keeps us current. We don’t rest on our laurels. There’s nothing that America wants to eat that can’t go on the Cheesecake Factory menu. And I think we’ve improved it.”
Here Are the New Menu Items Available at Cheesecake Factory
On the heels of the menu items that are leaving Cheesecake Factory, there are over 20 new and delicious recipes to take their place. They range from sweet to savory and include several adult beverages as well.
The new menu items include the following:
- Grilled Asparagus
- Honey Roasted Carrots
- Charred Sugar Snap Peas
- Asian Cucumber Salad
- Ahi Tuna & Shrimp Ceviche
- Chicken & Jalapeno Fritters
- Chicken Shawarma
- Mortadella Panino
- Double Smash Cheeseburger
- Thai Stir Fried Noodles
- Thai Stir Fried Noodles with Shrimp
- Seared Tuna Tataki Salad
- Grilled Branzino
- SkinnyLicious Branzino
- Steak Frites
- Spicy Ginger Beef Tenderloin
- Grilled Steak & Eggs
- Kids’ Strawberry Shortcake
There are also four new drinks on the menu: Yuzu Crush, Yuzu Drop, Margarita Verde, and Japanese Whisky Sour.
Typically, Cheesecake Factory has over 250 menu items. Except for those items being swapped out, the rest of the chain’s menu offerings will remain the same.
